On Wednesday John and Rosalind Hartley received the Bene Berenti - the medal from the Pope - in a wonderful Mass that just oozed faith and joy. It was a lovely celebration of so much that is good in our parishes and of course of John and Rosalind themselves. And it being our 3rd Anniversary of our consecration and our patronal feast made it extra special. I got a full English breakfast out of it the next morning too, so it just got better and better. With John and Rosalind not being prone to drawing attention to themselves, I do wonder when next we will see those medals though.
