CaFE Weekend (Friday 18th May - Saturday 19th May)
Powerful, moving, inspiring...and funny!
Just a few of the responses to this wonderful week-end.
John Pridmore started on Friday evening with the story of his drift from thieving to becoming a gangland leader. He spoke of how his life was transformed by the power of God's love.
The retreat continued on Saturday morning with Mass, then talks by David Payne and Jenny Baker, illustrated brilliantly by Steve Murry's mimes. There was singing to music played by Mike Mulroy, prayer and reflection. Oh... and some rather good jokes!
