The Mass of Consecration was a wonderful experience and we were blessed with fine sunny weather. We had some very appropiate hymns and readings. There were many guests including former parish priests, visiting priests and parishioners including many from the sister parish of Ashley.
The lunch at the Clayton Lodge was very enjoyable and fitting that feast of St Werburgh, the Golden Jubilee and the Mass of Consecration was held there.
