Taking place each year in June, the project is an act of solidarity with those who suffer and a glance at what it must be like for those who do not have clean water. It helps to show those around us that we care, and an opportunity to strengthen our prayer to God for them. For this years project see

The parish youth have decided to raise awareness of Fair Trade launched a stall selling fare goods such as tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate.
It is an important issue because we as consumers often try and get the cheapest goods but may not think of those who produce it and at what cost.
Producers aorund the world can get little profit for what they produce, such as tea, biscuits, or even chocolate, as they can be subject to changing prices and middle men who take a chunk of the profits.
Fair Trade organisations try and make sure that producers get a fair amount for what they sell, and that the goods bear the fair trade symbol which reflects this.
The Parish Youth feel its our duty to support fair trade and so have this set up this stall.
